Terms and conditions

After our initial consultation (in-person, over the phone, email, or Zoom etc) you will receive a quote and a design timeline based on the information we talked about.


When you are ready for me to begin designing your stationery, we will follow these steps:


  1. Deposit
    I will send an invoice for a 50% non-refundable booking fee.

  2. Design Elements Form
    I will also send you a form to complete and return to me with all your wedding details, design elements, details and thoughts or other things for me to consider.

  3. Proofs
    Once the 50% booking fee and a completed design elements form have been received, I will draft initial designs for you. We will then go backwards and forwards with proofs until you are 100% happy with the design. At this point we will reconfirm quantities etc, and I will send an invoice for the remaining balance.

    Notes about the proof stage: Digital proofs and the final artwork are sent via email. Great care is always taken to ensure all information is accurate, however, the client has responsibility to thoroughly check layout, copy, spelling, information and grammar. If designs are approved by the client with type errors and are subsequently printed, Francesca Norton Stationery Designs takes no responsibility and will not be liable for any resulting cost. Any replacements will be charged in full. It is therefore essential to check spelling and wording thoroughly before approving any design.

    Please note that the colour that appears on your computer screen may differ slightly from the printed colour.


  4. Final payment and delivery
    Once final payment has been received, I will send files to my printer (printing takes about a week, magnets and special items take slightly longer). Once I have everything back from the printer, I will check it all, add all my own finishing touches, package everything up, and then all your lovely stationery will be on it’s way to you. I will either send your stationery via tracked and signed post, or we can arrange local collection/delivery.



Cancellation: Any orders cancelled before files have been sent to print will receive payment back in full of any sums paid less the non-refundable booking fee. However, once proofs have been approved and sent to print, the full amount will be charged. Francesca Norton Stationery Designs cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your order once it has been dispatched. Francesca Norton Stationery Designs will not be liable or responsible for any failure to fulfill our obligations under these Terms and Conditions that is caused by an act or event beyond our reasonable control. If such an event occurs I will contact you as soon as possible to notify you and arrange a new time-scale and delivery date.

Social media: I may use ‘sneak peak’ images on my social media pages (@francescaweddings) but will never reveal the full design of your stationery or any details about your wedding until after your big day. If you don’t want me to use any images of your stationery at all, please let me know.

Copyright: All stationery designs are copyright of Francesca Norton Stationery Designs. As a designer, I respect other stationery designers work and will not copy their work. I will review any inspirations you have, but will never copy them.

These Terms and Conditions apply to any contract between us for the services and goods to you. An agreement of our quote will take place once an order has been placed and a 50% non-refundable booking fee has been paid. At this point a contract will come into existence between you and me. If you decline to accept these Terms and Conditions, Francesca Norton Stationery Designs will not be able to fulfill any goods or services to you. Francesca Norton reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. These changes will come into effect as soon as they are added to my website. All orders placed will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
